Porous Polymer beads are very useful as material for adsorbtion processes and as a support for catalysts, enzymes, scavengers or other functionalities. Polymers with a specially-designed porous structure are very well suited as stationary phase for HPLC separations.
For every unique application, optimized pore structures are necessary for optimal results. For this reason we have intensively investigated the polymerization process under this aspect.
We are now able to design very robust polymer beads with well-defined pores, surface area, and particle size.
The OrgaChrom S HPLC phases are one result of this technology.
